Carlos started developing 3D models back in 2005 when he was introduced to SketchUp during his internship with Epstein Architecture. He then became a full-time 3D Illustrator for PDR Corp in Houston, where he truly started to hone his skills. He is currently working as the head Visualization and Graphic Designer for the leading Architecture firm in San Antonio: Marmon Mok. At Marmon Mok he supports a team of 60 Architects and Interior Designers, bringing each project to life through his digital rendering skills and efficient model building.
For the past four years, Carlos has also been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Incarnate Word, where he teaches 3D Architectural Modeling and Set Design for the Animation and Game Design program.
Outside of work, Carlos also has several freelance projects where he renders imagery for product design, media, and promotional material. He also loves to travel the world in order to gain inspiration and fuel his creativity. He is always looking for the next big idea with 3D Illustration, and continues to help improve his skills and push boundaries with his clients. He is also the founding member of a Burger connoisseur club (@burgerfridayforever_sa) where he renders up an appetite to find the best burger in town.
