Artist Profile

Bio

Jarek is an architectural illustrator and digital design specialist. After receiving a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Cracow University of Technology in Poland in 2004, he joined HOK’s Washington, D.C. office, where he established and led the Design Support Group. His team used complex 3D modeling, rendering, and digital fabrication techniques to create renderings, animations, and concept physical models for project presentations. In 2014 he founded DIG, a creative illustration studio specializing in architectural imagery and digital design. Jarek’s illustration work has been featured in numerous publications and has received industry recognition. He is a member of American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI) and an Authorized Rhino Trainer (ART), remains an active participant in the Rhino3D user community and has released a number of Rhino3D scripts and plugins. He established DIG to serve clients by integrating digital design processes in the art of illustration. Originally from Cracow, Poland, Jarek currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
