Architecture in Perspective 20 Catalogue | Price: $35.00 | Code: AIP20 (2005)
“Architecture in Perspective” is the preeminent exhibition of architectural illustration in the world. Among the six top prizes, the best of show is awarded the Hugh Ferriss Memorial Prize. This year’s winner, Christopher Grubbs of San Francisco, was lauded by the jury for his dramatic texturing, vibrancy, and masterful composition.
This year’s competition drew nearly 500 entries from five continents. Fifty-six pieces were selected by our esteemed jury for the traveling exhibition, “Architecture in Perspective 20”, which will premier at the AIA National Headquarters Gallery in Washington, DC, on 21 October 2005.
The exhibition catalogue will be available at the 2005 ASAI Conference in Washington, DC. This beautiful 20th anniversary edition, offering the best architectural illustration the world has to offer in any given year, is a catalogue of the exhibit as well as an important resource for architects.
The 2005 distinguished jury included Ford Peatross, Curator of Architectural Drawings at the Library of Congress; Karen Van Lengen, the Dean of the University of Virginia School of Architecture, and Richard Williams, AIA, of Washington, DC.
